The Penguins have re-signed forward Teddy Blueger to a two-year, $1.5-million contract. Details ⬇️

Before being called up to the NHL, Blueger recorded 21 goals and 39 points in 45 games with the AHL’s Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

He has also played for his home country of Latvia in eight major international tournaments, including three consecutive world championships from 2017-19.Assistant GM Bill Guerin on Blueger: “Teddy is a perfect role model for younger players coming into the league… He came to us with great expectations, and he’s worked hard to meet each one. He has great hockey sense, he loves to compete and he’s a true professional.
