One parent, who spoke with Postmedia on the condition of anonymity, alleges her infant daughter came home from the facility with a bruise on her face in November.
She shared a number of December communications from the daycare to parents with Postmedia, showing Kidzee had shut down its infant care room due to staffing issues about a week before closing for the Christmas break on Dec. 14.Parents of older children at Kidzee didn’t note any problems with their children’s care, saying they were surprised when they learned the daycare’s licence had been cancelled.
The mother of a toddler at the facility, who requested to remain anonymous, similarly said the staff that worked with her young daughter were always kind and helpful. “You wonder, is this going to happen again at the next daycare?” said the mother of the toddler. “You just have to trust that the daycare does their due diligence.”
