Veteran forward Brett Ballum scored his second goal of the third period with 16 seconds remaining in regulation time to lift the Vipers to a 4-3 win over the Kent Koyotes in Mount Pearl, N.L., on April 24.The Vipers will play their second game of the day at the Atlantic Canada junior B hockey championship tournament against the Mount Pearl Blades at 7 p.m., Atlantic Time.

Clark Allain and Marshall Gallant also scored for the P.E.I.-champion Vipers, who received assists from Colby MacDonald and Carson MacKay.The Vipers held period leads of 1-0 and 2-0.
