Tracking covid by counting worker absences is about as much scientific process as our approach to covid mandates and treatments. The world is embracing quackery.

Yes because obviously a worker WOULD NEVER BE ABSENT DUE TO mental health/family obligations/other illnesses/etc etc

Ottawa travellers unenthusiastic as reports say feds are set to end remaining COVID-19 travel rulesThe ArriveCan app has been mandatory since November 2020, first forcing travellers to disclose their COVID\u002D19 symptoms and then as of last year requiring them to input their vaccination status into the app. You can’t fly direct to anywhere in Europe out of YOW, gotta go to Montreal, or TO. Really annoying. These parents taking their 6 and 9 year old kids to Vietnam on vacation during the school year don't represent the avg Canadian. It serves no purpose. Being vaccinated doesn't stop you from getting sick or spreading Covid. End the mandates, end ArriveCan and TrudeauMustGo No they’re not! Lol

Sparks Street bike shop done in by bureaucracy, COVID and convoyTwo and a half years of COVID, the lingering effects of the trucker convoy occupation, and unbending bureaucracy at every level of government has knocked the wheels off Jason Komendat\u0027s dream of a Sparks Street bike shop and café. Imagine blaming the convoy “insurrectionists” for his mismanagement when every other bike shop in town can barely keep stock due to an explosion in demand for 2 wheelers. Convoy happened in the dead of winter, not exactly high season for bike cafes. Get real. Just wait until the downtown turns into a ghost town or worst, a ghetto. Won't be too good for tourism. It will affect the image of all of Ottawa. But no one seems to care.
