Health records now exist, in various forms, in every province – even Saskatchewan and Alberta.
Another initiative Ottawa wants to encourage in the proposed health deals is the tracking of health workers like nurses and physicians, along with the creation of comparable health indicators. The Canadian Institute for Health Information and Infoway will together receive an additional $505-million over five years to do this data improvement work, which is long overdue. And, by the way, both Alberta and Saskatchewan share health records with both these organizations now, as they should. The proposed health accords do not, in any way, promote the notion of a digital ID, but suggesting they do appeals to the conspiracy theorists.
Citizens should be able to interact with government agencies virtually – including health care institutions – and that takes planning and structural change. Ottawa has published aIn medicine, health data is increasingly important. Personalized medicine and AI-assisted medicine require countless bytes of information to be analyzed in a constant feedback loop to improve care both individually and collectively.

Our medical records are already available
Really ! Do enlighten us all why they want more information then ! Weren’t they behind the vaccine passports and failed arrivecan app ? That they wasted millions on ? That was supposed to cost thousands ?
Ottawa not coming for personal health data? Is that the same Ottawa that wasn’t coming after hunting rifles when it was obvious that they were? Or the same Ottawa that required personal vaccine status to be given for travel?
So, what you're really saying is that Ottawa IS coming after our personal health data. This is how I read the Canadian MSM now. Read what they say, and understand that it is the opposite of the truth. So far, my technique is working out quite well.
Not if I can prevent it.
Sure G&M, sure. We really, really believe you this time! Lol 🤡
Just to give you a preview of what's up for you!

Bullshit they want to know everything about you, where you been what drugs you are on and how much yiu take so they can increase the cost
Captain Picard's own words: 'But health data are anonymized. No one is going to know that Bob from Regina waited eight months for a new hip.' And Premiers in smart provinces arguing to feds keep it that way. Rest of article just blabber (behind paywall) and leftist nonsense.
Why would they when they already illegally collected it without consent and failed to follow privacy laws. Habe they destroyed the health data yet as legally required federally and provincially?
If the Trudeau funded fake news media is telling me 'Ottawa is not coming for your personal health data', they are most definitely coming for my personal health data. EnemyOfThePeople PseudeauNews
Then stop pushing digital ID. Nothing wrong with the current system. End of story.
Rule number one don't believe anything the media says in Canada
This doesn’t seem truthy
But Alberta is
Canadians need a digital record of their patient records so we can get the system out of the stone age which currently relies on fax machines to communicate between doctors, hospitals, clinics, & pharmacies. Populist right-wing conservatives should put a sock in their pandering.
Danielle Smith, vowing to protect Albertan's against a Digital ID. Something which they already have......
Really?! Starting when, the left extremists became lover of freedom and human rights?
Yes, they are, and we know it.
Well now you know they are. Thank you globe and fail
