Category 2 and 3 open burning will remain prohibited in the Dawson Creek, Fort St. John, and Fort Nelson fire zones.

As of noon on Thursday, Oct. 5, Category 2 and 3 open burning prohibitions will be rescinded for Prince George, Vanderhoof, Fort St. James, Mackenzie and Robson fire zones.This means that the following equipment and activities remain prohibited in these areas:

Prohibitions apply to all public and private lands unless otherwise specified . Please check with your local authorities before lighting any fire.
