The Ministry of Health says there are 1,126 COVID-19 patients in Ontario hospitals, up from 1,074 yesterday and from 807 a week ago. This marks a 28 per cent week-over-week increase and a high not seen since Feb. 19 when 1,191 patients were hospitalized.The ministry reported 16 more COVID-19 deaths that occurred in the past month. Three of the deaths were long-term care home residents.Provincial labs processed more than 21,300 tests in the past 24 hours, producing a positivity rate of 17.
Among the latest cases, 2,418 individuals received three doses of a vaccine, 1,074 have received two doses, 482 are not fully vaccinated and 250 have an unknown vaccination status.over 100,000 new cases daily“Based on our wastewater analysis, we just reached the peak we were at in early January and at that time, we were at about 100,000 to 120,000 new cases per day,” Dr. Peter Jüni told CP24 on Wednesday.
Infectious diseases specialist Dr. Isaac Bogoch says residents should approach this wave with “a degree of caution,” despite recent modelling showing that this wave likely won’t impact the health-care system as severely compared to the last wave.
The media needs to stop fear mongering! What are we gonna do, stay locked down for the rest of our lives? Covid is never going away no matter how many lock downs we have or how long we stay locked down. If you want to stay home then stay home and or wear your mask then wear it.

Who exactly gets hospitalized? I worked during the whole pandemic with public and never ever got Covid. People don’t take care of their health at all. Half of my money are going to taxes while there are people hoping for another lock down so they can stay home and get paid.
