TORONTO - Ontario’s Progressive Conservatives want to spread the public service workforce across the province in a bid to stimulate local economies and save money.

The Tories say employment growth and opportunities have been too concentrated in the province’s largest metropolitan areas and they are looking for ways to change that. A recent announcement on plans to move the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board’s headquarters from Toronto to London, Ont., was highlighted in the budget as part of a community jobs plan.

Invest Ontario, established in 2020, is an agency meant to focus on attracting business to the province.

Ontario Greens look to other provinces as they campaign to grow their caucus of oneOntario’s Greens are hoping to build on momentum from their first-ever provincial win and grow their caucus of one this spring – or at least hold onto the seat they won four years ago. Green supporters should be parking their votes with the candidate most likely to beat the PC. Just this once. Except in Schreiner’s riding. Because getting rid of Ford is Job 1. If the major parties are going green is there a need for the green party? Beat it.

Ontario Greens propose tax on domestic buyers of multiple homes | Globalnews.caOntario's Green Party is proposing a tax on domestic homebuyers with multiple properties as a measure to reduce housing demand. You need an exemption for recreational homes, but definitely needed. That’s a good start. How about preventing investors from buying single dwelling homes? All the single family homes in my neighborhood are being bought and flipped by investors, selling for huge profits less than a year later. Don’t you just love socialists?
