If you are planning on celebrating this Canada Day weekend with fireworks, keep in mind that you are responsible if hot residue from your fireworks starts a wildland fire.That's according to Aviation, Forest Fire and Emergency Services for the Northeast Fire Region.
The AFFES says there have been no new wildfires confirmed Thursday, but three existing fires continue in the Far North. Its status remains not yet under control, however it continues to have low fire activity, the AFFES said.
