The Nuggets will try to keep their season alive without their MVP as Nikola Jokic has been ejected in the third quarter of Game 4:

The incident occurred late in the third quarter as Jokic tried to smack the ball out of Cameron Payne’s hands but made contact with the latter’s face. After a review, Jokic was assessed a Flagrant 2 foul and forced to leave the court while Devin Booker was given a technical foul for confronting Jokic.The 26-year-old finished with 22 points, 11 rebounds and four assists in 28 minutes for the Nuggets.

Jokic was named the NBA MVP after averaging 26.4 points, 10.8 rebounds per game and 8.3 assists while shooting 56 per cent from the field and 39 per cent from 3-point range. Phoenix is looking to reach the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2009-10 while Denver is looking to avoid being swept for the first time since 2007-08.
