DARTMOUTH — The Cabot Highlanders had their Nova Scotia Under-16 ‘AAA’ Hockey League season come to an end on Saturday.

The Port Hawkesbury-based Highlanders were defeated 10-1 by the Basin Armada of Bedford at RBC Centre in Dartmouth.Related stories Chris Brill, Owen O’Leary and Liam Conlon each scored twice while Tyler MacDougall had a goal and three assists. Samuel Cowan, Carson MacDonald and Jaxson Prior chipped in with goals for the Armada.Basin’s Payson Stewart made 22 saves. Cabot’s Mason Doucet and Logan Evans shared time between the pipes. Doucet allowed seven goals on 32 shots while Evans turned aside 28 of 31 shots.Meanwhile, the Cape Breton Jets forced a third-and-deciding game with the Martello Buccaneers of St.
