and this year’s play is Disney’s Descendants, to be staged March 28 and 29 with a March 30 matinee and evening show.
“We were starting from scratch in so many ways - props, costumes, staging - but we pushed our way forward and were well received. We’ve got a good foundation to build on this year.” “There has never been any question the talent for this already existed at NRHS and we worked hard to bring back a musical because it presents such an opportunity for students. Those who took part last year are that much stronger and more confident now so we’re really excited.”“People may or may not be familiar with Disney’s Descendants but they will definitely know some of the characters. We have the four villains, Cruella de Vil, Jafar, Queen Grimhilde and Maleficent.
“He has the idea of bringing about change and doing something really good but there are some evil forces, some villains, he has to contend with.”“After graduation, I hope to move to Toronto and work in the music business.” “Basketball is over for the season so all my focus is now on the play. I’m really lucky to be able to do this again in my last year of high school.”
