A motor vehicle incident Wednesday morning has closed part of the Patricia Bay Highway, reducing Northbound traffic to a single lane.

A vehicle incident has closed part of the Patricia Bay Highway in Sidney Wednesday morning.

DriveBC reported the incident just after 9:30 a.m. on Highway 17 between McTavish Road and Beacon Avenue . Earlier, the crash had closed the road entirely and a detour was in effect around the area — however, as of 10 a.m., a single northbound lane has reopened.
