The Grouse Grind Trail reopens Saturday, May 28 for the 2022 summer season. The popular 2.5\u002Dkilometre trail will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, weather permitting.

The popular 2.5-kilometre trail, which is maintained by the Metro Vancouver authority, will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and allows for one-way uphill hiking.

Meanwhile, the BCMC Trail, which runs adjacent to the east of the Grind, is undergoing maintenance and will be closed weekdays throughout June before its scheduled full reopening on July 1. The trail will remain open on weekends and holidays if construction conditions allow. • Wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear. While the trail is mostly made of steps, these are not always smoothly paved steps but more like cut logs and surfaces where you’ll want to make sure you have a good foothold before stepping. It can also get breezy once you’re deep into the tree canopy.
