The Ottawa Fire Services says no injuries were reported after a garage fire spread into a home on Montreal Road Thursday morning.
The second fire was at approx. 00:13 in the 3500 block of Old Montreal Rd. A neighbour called 9-1-1 reporting a house on fire on their street and that flames were through the roof. Upon arrival, Firefighters confirmed the attached garage of a bungalow was fully engulfed in flames…“This fire was in an area of the city with no hydrants, so fire crews used tanker truks to shuttle in water from a nearby water source,” Ottawa fire said on X.
