The NHL hopes to talk to Robin Lehner after the Vegas Golden Knights goaltender made allegations about medical malpractice.

This isn't the first time that Lehner has been outspoken about the way teams have handled the health of players. Back in August, the formergoalie came to the defence of onetime captain Jack Eichel, who is dealing with an argument with the team over how to treat an injury.

Lehner sustained a lower-body injury during Buffalo’s season opener during the 2015-16 season and ended up missing more than three months due to the injury. “I had a high ankle sprain, I tear everything in my foot and go through that and there was a bunch of problems,” Lehner“They hired like 12, 13 new people on that team that year that never played, never been around hockey,” Lehner explained. “The medical guys and and all that stuff.

They way you are framing this issue shows me who's side you're on. He isn't saying anything didn't already know. Stop being hypocrites.

Maybe the league should thoroughly investigate all of their teams.

NHL: 'We are shocked by these allegations'.

Team Panda, I applaud RobinLehner for taking a stand to protect the well being of the players

Dude’s a problem, everyone knows it but the Knights dump Fleury, who lives, eats and breathes hockey for the kneeling, social justice warrior who should be worried about doing his actual job. Dude’s a headcase.

Hopes what? He said he’d talk - wants something done. Pick up the phone and call him today.

Robin: teams hand out drugs like crazy. NHL: whaaaaat?! They… they do?! We had no idea…

Why are some replying here so afraid to hear someone with 1st hand info tell the truth?

“Stop telling everyone about the benzo’s Robin! Do you need anymore?” Nhl…

Why Respond to the Brittney Spears of Hockey lehner right now

I’m sure it will go along the lines of: Hey Robin, Gary here. What can we do to get you to shut up?

This is the equivalent of someone on Twitter calling out a company and that company asking for a DM to talk about it in private. He's already said his peace. It's now up to the NHL to care or sweep under the rug. I know which one I expect from Bettman and crew.

Will the police?

Truth be told!!!

And its not just the NHL its all of them

I’m not a Knights fan, but I respect his guts for speaking out.

The Sabres…

The more time goes on the more this guy seems unhinged and will be the downfall of that teams morale... To get rid of Flower for nothing and keeping Lehner is as batshit crazy as he seems to be

The dude is a nut job and a massive distraction. I would not trust him in a starting role. Mistake getting rid of flower
