Josh Morrissey of the Winnipeg Jets, Nikita Zaitsev of the Ottawa Senators and Max Domi of the Columbus Blue Jackets have each been fined $5,000 for their actions in NHL games on Wednesday.

Morrissey's slash was on Alexandre Texier just after the Blue Jackets scored an empty-net goal late in the third period of a 3-0 Columbus win.

Domi received two minor penalties early in the third period. The league did not specify the incident that had incurred the fine. Zaitsev returned to the Senators lineup Wednesday after being in the NHL's COVID-19 protocol. He was fined for cross-checking Meier in the head, although Zaitsev was not penalized on the play., and avoid posting profanity, personal attacks or harassment.
