Netflix employees to stage walkout amid controversy surrounding Dave Chappelle special

A group of employees calling itself Team Trans* has scheduled a rally outside Netflix’s 13-story Sunset Boulevard offices in Los Angeles, where activists, public figures and other supporters plan to present Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos with a “list of asks.” Even as it posted record subscriber numbers on Tuesday, propelled by the global popularity of the dystopian South Korean thriller “Squid Game,” Netflix faces internal dissent over its handling of Chappelle’s stand-up show “The Closer.”

Hours before the walkout on Wednesday morning, a Netflix spokesman said in a statement: “We respect the decision of any employee who chooses to walk out, and recognize we have much more work to do both within Netflix and in our content.”

These people have such thin skin, do they even cast a shadow when the sun shines?

Fire them immediately.

I wonder what all these employees thought about “Cuties”?

Never really cared for him but this whole thing seems like a long trolling game on his part. If it is I may have to revise my opinion

I've watched the special twice now, specifically to try to figure out what exactly he says that is 'hateful' orr 'ridiculing'. As far as I can tell, some people are upset that he is challenging their preferred narrative, not actually saying anything offensive.

Are we really expected to believe current gender theory is a viable, long term solution to gender dysphoria? All enforced by hissy fit?
