"He was so brave. He kept banging on the window until it broke and then he jumped out … the images of him banging on the window and him jumping keep coming to my mind. I went to a friend's house last night and I couldn't sleep until 5 a.m." Flames quickly engulfed the home, which according to Nova Scotia's Property Online, was first registered in 1955.
"Everyone was outside watching but no one came over to help until it was over," said Lakshay."He was a big guy. I could have used some help. His arms were all burned but I had no choice but to grab his arms to drag him away from the fire. I could feel his arms coming off in my hands." "I was told that he had burns on about 40 per cent of his body," said Lakshay.
