The NBA is slated to open its first-ever “Courtside Restaurant” in Toronto in the spring. The league said in a press release that the restaurant will open in downtown Toronto at 15 Queens Quay East, near the foot of Yonge Street.

The NBA is slated to open its first-ever “Courtside Restaurant” in Toronto in the spring.

“There’s no better location for the first NBA Courtside Restaurant than Canada, where basketball has a rich history and tradition,” said NBA Canada Senior Vice President, Leah MacNab in the release. “We can’t wait to welcome fans and guests from around the world to this incredible venue, where they can celebrate their shared love of the game in a unique way through a delicious meal and welcoming atmosphere.

Erica Karbelnik, a Toronto-based chef and winner of Top Chef Canada Season 9 and Chopped Canada Season 3, will act as the NBA Courtside Restaurant’s Culinary Ambassador while also overseeing the “development of a globally inspired menu.” Dining rooms in the Courtside Restaurant will feature artwork by artists KWEST, Victor Solomon, and others and guests will be able to view “NBA Top Shot Moments.” The series will focus on top plays from the NBA season.
