TATAMAGOUCHE, N.S. — The Nature Conservancy of Canada will be protecting 37 hectares of forest, lakeside, and wetlands near Tatamagouche thanks to a new land donation from the Bonnyman family.

The newly established conservation area, Hemlock Hill at Mattatall Lake, houses 13 hectares of towering eastern hemlock trees, now safeguarded from development pressures and invasive species.
