‘My job isn’t to please you.’ Blue Jays ace Alek Manoah speaks out after analyst questions his work ethic

A heated Twitter exchange between Manoah and MLB Network analyst and former major league catcher Anthony Recker started after Recker made comments about Manoah’s workout routine during a televised discussion on the best pitchers in the game under 30.

“I love you Alek, just show me you’re willing to put in a little more time at the gym and that you’re gonna be there consistently a little bit longer. I still love you,” Recker said.“Hey @Anthony_Recker my job isn’t to please you.
