The Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation will be keeping this year’s pow wow a smaller affair.
“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic it was decided by our community to keep the event small, and by invitation only, so as to protect the health and safety of the community,” noted officials.“Gchi-Miigwech for your understanding and support of our most difficult choice,” said officials. “We hope to host you next year for our 25th anniversary celebration – our biggest pow wow yet.
