“Community is a key thing,” Oakley said of UGM’s Christmas dinner. He pointed out how easily loneliness and isolation can overwhelm people who have to live on the street.“Once people come through the door here, there seems to be a sense of all that disappearing, and things start to relax, and community can once again be a part of their life, right?”
