More than 500,000 angry Game of Thrones fans petition for remake of final season

to program makers HBO was started last week after widespread anger at how the last six-episode season of the smash hit show is unfolding. It had garnered 528,543 names as of 3:09 p.m. on Thursday.

Much of the fan anger is centred on what they feel is a rush to wrap up complicated storylines as the shows writers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss write their own conclusion to the fantasy epic. While some on social media supported the petition idea, it also received some pushback with commentators calling signatories “entitled.”

canladyj I cannot see why «fans» are petitioning to redo final season. The story line was created by the producers since the author's is years away. Though I felt the 7th season was rushed - I would have liked it to go on. Perhaps they are upset because it is the end of the series?

What a joke. It's a dumb TV show. Get over it. Move on. Put the laptop down. Go outside, read a book, socialize, get a f××××n life!

I love the show. I agree they crammed it a bit, but nothing out of were the story was heading. People got to get lives.

These two failed big time and undid all the excitement and intrigue that were evident in the previous episodes. What else can we expect in the final episode but one big anticlimax!
