Ontario’s publicly funded school boards reported more than 100 new COVID-19 cases among staff and students on Thursday as the total number of active infections surpassed 500.

The Ministry of Education says that there were 109 new school-related cases of the disease caused by the novel coronavirus confirmed over the last 24 hours. The latest tally is down from the 168 new cases reported one day prior but is otherwise the highest number of new cases reported in any single 24-hour period so far this school year.

Ontario’s labs processed more than 34,000 tests on Wednesday, which was the highest number in any single 24-hour period since early June. It also processed more than 33,000 tests on Tuesday, also a multi-month high. The ministry says that there are now cases at 348 schools but only one of them – St. Joseph’s High School in Windsor – has been closed due to a COVID-19 outbreak.

Why are students not being given rapid tests in certain high risk areas or areas with low vaxx rates, prior to entering the schools?

But schools are safe? MIA Premier & Minister of Education need to come out of hiding & answer some questions. This shouldn't be happening 19 months into this pandemic. Honestly even one sick child is to much. I don't want schools closed but smaller class sizes may just help.

Stop reporting this. We don’t need to know day by day. We knew kids would get COVId. Maybe adults should get vaxxed and stop giving it to their kids. Attention CAS for neglect

The corporate press keeps reporting this nonstop because they want the schools to close again.. it'll equal more clicks for them. It'll be devastating for parents and the economy

While America, EU, Canada, Australia, UK , NATO impose draconian lockdown to ruin citizens’ lives in the name of fighting COVID19, Its Life and business as usual in Russia and China, open schools, church, family COVIDAB mentalhealth love lifestyle
