RCMP say two people — a 38-year-old-male driver and a 14-year-old female passenger — were killed after swerving to avoid a moose.CBC NewsRCMP said two people have died after a vehicle swerved and crashed into a cattle hauler on Sunday night along Highway 41.

Two people are dead following a collision in Cypress County, Alta., about 315 kilometres southeast of Calgary, on Sunday evening. Around 7:25 p.m., RCMP responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 41 between Highway 545 and Township road 190. In a statement, police said two people from Leader, Sask., — a 38-year-old-male who was driving the car and a 14-year-old female — were killed after the driver swerved to avoid a moose.The driver of the cattle hauler was not injured. The moose was killed.
