Montreal to pay $3 million to protestors whose rights were violated by city police

The City of Montreal will pay more than $3 million to hundreds of protestors whose rights were violated by city police.

The settlement will end eight long-running class action lawsuits against the city that allege participants in six protests were illegally arrested or detained by police and were unable to exercise other fundamental rights. The law firm representing class members said earlier this week in a court-approved notice that the city will also publish an apology on its website acknowledging that “certain actions” by city police and the municipal administration violated protestors fundamental rights.

That is stunned beyond belief There is nothing to debate. Nazism led to the holocaust. We have the survivors testimonies, video footage and plenty of documents to prove. I believe (but not certain) there was a meeting of the despicables (Goering, Himmel et al) in mid 1930s that debated the Final Solution. The idea was tossed around in Mein Kampf so I believe Nazism led to the Holocaust.

It sure as hell doesn't support me!
