CORNER BROOK, N.L. — A Newfoundland trucker missing in Ontario since April 24 has been found deceased.
The release does not name the man, but family members of Brian Lush shared news of his death on social media prior to the police release being issued.Lush, who is from the Stephenville area, was last seen at 4:30 p.m. on April 24 at a Petro-Pass gas station on Country Road 27 in Summerstown, Ont. The OPP’s Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Detachment handled the search for Lush and asked drivers and hunters in the area to check their dashcams and trail cams for video that may have helped in efforts to locate Lush.
Lush’s sister, Shelley Lush-Smolders, shared the news of her brother’s death on Facebook, saying, “We have located our missing loved one, the outcome not being what anyone wanted to hear.”
