Militants attacked the stock exchange in the Pakistani city of Karachi on Monday, killing at least three people -- two guards and a policeman, according to police. Special police forces deployed to the scene of the attack and in a swift operation secured the building, killing all four gunmen.

There were no reports of any wounded among the brokers and employees inside the exchange and a separatist militant group from a neighbouring province later claimed responsibility for the attack.

Local television stations broadcast images of police in full body armour surrounding the building but still staying outside the high-walled compound of the stock exchange. Shazia Jehan, a police spokesman, said the bomb disposal team was also called to the stock exchange to clear the building of any explosive devises.

Lebanon's foreign minister to summon U.S. envoy over comments on HezbollahLebanon's foreign minister summoned the U.S. ambassador to Beirut over comments she made recently in which she criticized the militant Hezbollah group, state-run National News Agency reported Sunday. Hezbollah remind me of Yossarian, the hero of Catch-22, who declared his opinion that the Germans hated him. Someone asked him why he thought so. “Because they shoot at me” replied Yossarian, “Every time I fly over to drop bombs on them, they shoot at me.” Once again CTV carries water for its terrorist pets. A bunch of vile rats and their insane demands the same as the Liberal party here in Canada. No Hezbollah, no Lebanon. Simple.
