Escaped African cats kill domestic cat in Qualicum Beach, B.C.The B.C. Conservation Officers Service (BCCOS) has confirmed that two African servals are on the loose in the Qualicum Beach area of Vancouver Island. Residents blame coyotes for pets disappearing in Hunt Club neighbourhoodSome residents in the Hunt Club area say they suspect coyotes may be behind the disappearance of their pets. I blame the careless reckless owners for leaving their pets outside the house The obvious solution here, is pet coyotes….. Just shoot them and cull the local population! Rabbits etc have disappeared…their food chain is diminishing with more coyotes and less food. What will it take!! An attack on a child? And given the chance they will do it.
