KAMLOOPS – Krista McCarville struggled Monday against New Brunswick’s Andrea Kelly, but like she did in last year’s 1-2 Page Playoff, she found a way to pull out the win.
McCarville, who curls out of Fort William Curling Club, scored two in the extra end to edge Kelly 8-6, putting herself in position to get the win with a pair in the ninth that gave her a 6-5 lead. Equally important, she managed to hold Kelly to a single with hammer in the 10th, putting her in the driver’s sat coming home.
