Photo credit: Danny Williams“With many teens struggling with significant mental health challenges during these tumultuous times, teen girls need a supportive space to express themselves, develop their confidence and explore their creative voice,” said WriteGirl’s executive director Taylor, who has been in L.A. for two decades.

Atwood is being celebrated for a career in which her work has been published in more than 45 countries. She is the author of more than 50 books of fiction, poetry, critical essays and graphic novels. Her most notable and much-loved novels include The Handmaid’s Tale, Cat’s Eye, Alias Grace and The Blind Assassin.
