General manager Kyle Dubas appeared to be smiling from crying Sunday, when he thought about his waiver luck, crossed his fingers, and placed newly acquired forward“He’s an NHL player,” said Dubas, familiar with the risk. “But selfishly we hope he gets through and can provide us depth. If not, that will just be another contract slot and some cash for us.”

lukefoxjukebox What is this guy doing as GM? You can look all the way back to putting Pickard and Mciilaney on waivers & lost them both. Time to move on and get a real GM. They need to fill holes and he’s doing nothing to fill them. Playoffs are a whole different animal and the leafs need help.
