Manitoba adopts federal COVID-19 vaccine proof. People can go to the same website Manitoba has used since June to issue provincial COVID-19 passports, and instantly download a federal QR code

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced last week the plan for a national vaccine passport.

Starting Saturday, anyone over the age of 12 who wishes to get on a plane or train in Canada will need to prove they are fully inoculated. The Manitoba government says its passport is still good for restaurants, movie theatres and other venues within the province and is preferable because it contains less personal information.

Health officials are reporting 464 new COVID-19 cases over the last four days, and two additional deaths. This content appears as provided to The Globe by the originating wire service. It has not been edited by Globe staff.

Vaccine Card happened to me and also had a photocopy of my actual vaccination cards in colour and that wasn’t acceptable. after 15 minutes of hassle the guy finally let us in but just ridiculous. And by the way never asked about my arrive can app or whether or not I had gotten my PCR test. CBSA isn’t responsible for quarantine orders. All they do is pass along the order from the federal health ministry (PHAC). The local health region enforces it (VCH, Fraser Health, etc). We dealt with this. This traveller needs to contact his local health region office.
