How is helping people gouged by Trudeau’s carbon tax at a time of rampant inflation a bad thing CBC? Your pro-Trudeau platform makes you not a credible news source but more a Liberal Party propaganda arm…at taxpayer’s expense sadly

Ok does no one else find this ridiculous that other layers of government need to give people back monies to afford to eat as the Feds keep steaming ahead with more taxes. Just ridiculous!

Funny, If feds do something like this, Poilievre says it causes inflation. Regardless, giving the same 'affordability package' to someone making 40-50 k as someone making 175 shows how out of touch Heather is! Again! With so much need, this is terrible management. PC's out!!

The money helps but ultimately it increases inflation. Perhaps lowering taxes or helping to alleviate high housing costs is more effective.

Yay!! Every Canadian LOVES inflation! This is perfect!!🙂

Why not just stop collecting the tax if you’re just going to hand it out.

Why don't we just make life easier on ourselves and scrap this ludicrous carbon tax?

Will it be ONLY for the rich and people with kids? The disabled, working class and older parents are ignored in Alberta.
