Corey James Clarke, 35, pleaded not guilty to seven charges, including attempted murder and aggravated assault, after allegedly stabbing a police officer during a disturbance at a Canadian Tire store in Saint John, New Brunswick.

SAINT JOHN, N.B. — A man accused of attempted murder of a Saint John police officer after an alleged stabbing during a disturbance in a Canadian Tire pleaded not guilty .

On Friday, Clarke appeared from the Restigouche Health Centre.
