Cooking Culinary Adventure: inspired by Halifax's Seaport Market | SaltWire #cooking #cookingshortsSIMMS SETTLEMENT, N.S. — One person died and another was seriously injured when an ATV drove in front of a vehicle in Lunenburg County Friday night.

RCMP said in a release that the ATV crossed the road into the path of the westbound sedan on Highway 3 in Simms Settlement at about 8 p.m.The ATV ended up in the ditch. Its driver, a 44-year-old Bangs Falls man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, a 54-year-old Greenfield woman, suffered injuries described as serious but not life-threatening. She was taken to hospital by ambulance.
