Tenny Guon Lim, who pleaded guilty to possessing 35 kilograms of heroin that had been delivered to the Vancouver airport, has been sentenced to eight years in jail.

A man who was arrested with nearly 35 kilograms of heroin that had been delivered to the Vancouver airport has been sentenced to eight years in prison.

On May 22, 2014, Per was seen engaging in a large number of phone calls and text messages after which he met up with Lim off-site. Under a joint submission on sentencing by the Crown and the defence, it was asserted that Lim was not the importer of the heroin, but neither was he the mere courier. Instead, his role in the scheme was in the middle ground between the two.

Holmes said that Lim had committed the offence along with a “corrupt insider” who was in an obvious position of trust and that he had helped in the abuse of that trust.
