A man accused of running over a Toronto police officer nearly three years ago is expected to continue testifying at his trial today. Umar Zameer , left, with his defence lawyer Nader Hasan, on Tuesday, March 19, at the beginning of his trial. Zameer, who is accused of killing a Toronto police officer in a parking garage nearly three years ago, is expected to continue his testimony Thursday.
When he first spoke from the witness box Tuesday, Zameer described the events that led up to his encounter with police that night.
