Peter Klassen estimates he racked up enough mileage to get him to the moon and back — 18 times

In mid-August, the 90-year-old did his last run after 20 years with Premium Transportation Inc., ending a more than six-decade trucking career during which he estimates he racked up enough mileage to get him to the moon and back — 18 times.

In each of his 20 years with the company, Klassen ranked in the Top 2 for highest mileage, Hogan said. He’s averaged about 210,000 kilometres a year — the equivalent of more than five times around the planet.“He leaves a hole in this industry that will take two or three truckers to fill.” His favourite destination? “Laredo, Texas,” Klassen said, grinning. Trips there and to California were some of his longest runs back and forth to Canada.

Klassen, who turned 90 about a week ago, now lives in St. Catharines, where he plans to spend time with his siblings and “find new hobbies,” he said.

I noticed some of these Bridges being named after cops on the 401. Just wondering why the real road warriors never have Bridges named after them

Then we have graduates with liberal arts degrees who are sitting at home collecting welfare because they are too stupid to work or are unable to hold a job on account of being lazy and entitled. They all live in Vancouver of course. Oh and they protest regularly for communism.

Hey man, thanks for delivering the goods for all those years. We owe you.

NO ONE should be driving at 90!!! 😡 They should be doing at least 100!! 😂
