As a Federal Public Servant and as a Person with very mild schizophrenia I say 🥰👍👍👍. Let us all work together to find relief for persons with mental health disabilities so that they would never opt for medical assisted dying which is a horrible outcome.

Government authorized assisted suicide for depressed anxiety ridden Canadians instead of public health care. What can go wrong? This scenerio sounds like the horrors of 1930's Germany. Absolutely terrifying.

To be completely honest I think they set this up to fail. I think they either actually offered MAID to people who it shouldn't have been offered to or faked it and leaked it so that people would be outraged and then they could slow it down, which is what they wanted all along.
