OTTAWA -- Ontario MP Marwan Tabbara "stepped back" from the governing Liberal caucus Friday after multiple charges of assault, break and enter and harassment were laid against him.
"Other than to state unequivocally that every incident of violence is unacceptable and inexcusable, it would be inappropriate for me to comment further while this matter is before the court," he said. "I am currently facing criminal charges which arose in April. There are mandatory steps that must be taken to address a criminal case, and those steps take time, particularly with delays due to the pandemic," he added.
Tabbara has been charged with two counts of assault, one count of breaking and entering to commit an indictable offence, and one count of criminal harassment. The charges follow his arrest on April 10 in Guelph, Ont.
Quite the dirty gang you have there JustinTrudeau.
I don't believe for one second that the PMO has not heard about this. I do believe that Blackfacetrudeau will come out and accuse all Canadians of assaulting too much, breaking and entering too much and harassing too much.
PM Blackface will describe it as a learning moment .
he's on charges that included two counts of assault, one count of 'break and enter and commit an indictable offence' and one count of criminal harassment. lets see if this case gets MSM coverage
Since the details are very limited, he must’ve assaulted a woman because that would go against the feminist narrative of the liberals. Remember...we believe all women until it’s a liberal that’s accused...
TNorrisNU What bothers me about this is that he only resigned from caucus today. After the story broke. For 2 months it appears it was okay with the PMO that he remained with the party. Only after the news leaked then it was not. Ugh.
The apples never fall far from the tree
no its cool guys, he's a liberal so don't worry.
Relative to what police report?
why has it taken you so long to print this. and why is trudeau getting a pass saying he didn't know?
If he were Conservative the press would be all over Scheer over this why is ztrudeau getting the pass?
Resign
A Typical liberal...
This is pathetic focus on the man accused of the crime not Prime Minister Trudeau! Trudeau has nothing to do with this man alleged bad behaviour. CTV News just wants clicks.
Trump made him do it.
No doubt Justin gives him a pat on the back and promotes him to cabinet
For one who claims 'strongly in the right of every individual to live a life free of the hurt and trauma of physical, verbal or emotional abuse.', he has been charged with TWO counts of assault. Hmmm. Quite the opposites.
Has he chosen which healing lodge he wants to go to?
Quick claim intoxication, that’s a defense now. Oh wait that’s just for woman beating and driving drunk.
Not sure why we are looking at Trudeaus face here and not the monster who committed the crime.
hope he gets a lot of years
This is the guy who said “We can’t get the necessary unanimous consent for introduction of a Bill on this subject and this has waited too long for action.” about gun control. I guess he has the same feeling for consent when it comes to assault & harassment.
And people forget several Cons Arrested for Drunk Driving last year will target the Liberals as the worse. I noticed a trend here. Cons do more evil like steal Party sorry Misappropriation of Party Funds wording means shhhhh its not Embezzlement Scheer won't be fired or arrested.
Another criminal in the Liberal party who would have thought. Many more to go!
So an MP gets charged and CTV (Fox North) shows a picture of PM Trudeau. The PRIME MINISTER made me proud to be a Canadian today. A Conservative has never made me feel that way. EVER.
lol......some intern is going to get fired for saying it was a Liberal MP.....
