I wrote my first letter about food insecurity in 2015. At that time, then premier Wade MacLauchlan announced that P.E.I. would be named"Canada's Food Island." This term is still used in the tourism ads. I find this very hypocritical.The current government has a goal of eliminating food insecurity by 2025. Is there the political will to do so? I think not.I am writing this letter regarding the CPP $2,500 death benefit.
What street is next? Will all the streets in downtown Charlottetown get “ceilings of lights?” There can be no discrimination, can there? Giant wind turbines are being forced into a pristine bird migration area where the community doesn’t want them. This is not kind, this is not fair, this is not about people.
