In a corresponding move, Toronto activated defenseman Mark Giordano off long-term injured reserve. The 2019 Norris Trophy winner will be in the lineup for the first time since Feb. 29. Liljegren missed two games in late February with an undisclosed injury, and missed over a month with a high-ankle sprain, in which the Swedish blueliner was placed on LTIR back in November. Also, in October, Liljegren had to leave a game against the Nashville Predators with an upper-body injury, but did not miss any time.
