The Leafs squandered an opportunity to clinch a playoff berth with another loss to the Senators.

The Leafs lost 4-2 to Ottawa on Saturday night, Toronto’s second loss in the nation’s capital in two weeks.

The Canadian Tire Centre, as usual, was filled with a large contingent of Toronto fans. They didn’t have much to cheer about until the third period — and only for a short time. Just 27 seconds later, the Leafs tied the game as the Senators had a bad turnover in their own end, which resulted in an odd-man rush and Brown picking the top corner to beat Anderson.

Anderson made a huge save on Mitch Marner late in the period to preserve the third and Duclair added insurance with an empty-net goal.

real bad passing on those power plays how many times the puck went right back down the ice nought just this g-ame wow power play time waits for k-now one. miscued the cue ball butt then again nought much on flashing lights cell phones audio signature fuddle duddle sportscentre dj

Maybe Sparks should keep his mouth and 5 hole shut. ShouldaKeptMcElhinney

I love the excuse that it was all the back ups fault. The Sens are last in the nhl. Back up or not, as “good” as fans say they are, this should have been an easy win.

All that Toronto based media adulation has created too many swelled heads on the Leafs. Hard work beats skill when skill doesn’t work hard...

Doesn't help we have the worst backup in the league ohh and we signed him for another year ohh yippy skippy

From top to bottom bad decisions with the starting the pylon sparks the team does seem like they have confidence in him and they keep playing him

LMAO...guess the parade planners need to find work
