The Lakers plan to sit out LeBron James for the rest of the season.

are planning to sit out James for the rest of the 2018-19 campaign, the club announced Saturday.

“After consulting with our team doctors and medical staff, we have decided to hold LeBron out of games for the remainder of the season. "This decision will allow his groin to fully heal, and is best for the future success of both LeBron and the Lakers."

Why sit him now? He's gonna have plenty of time to rest seeing that he's not going to be playing in the playoffs this year! I figured he may want to earn the money and show up for the fans to get the hard earned $$$$'s worth!
