Ethics commissioner Mario Dion is investigating the involvement of Trudeau and former finance minister Bill Morneau, who also has family ties to WE, in awarding the $43.5-million contract. PMJT asked WE Charity to host a 2017 Cda Day wknd event on Parliament Hill, paid $1.18 million. PMs mother was a speaker at the event. In a memo obtained by National Post, Marc Kielburger said he had received the invitation from Trudeau and the Heritage ministry.
