If the union rep of GM thinks Trudeau will help him-he’s in for a huge let down

Let's change the sound track and lead! Shouldn't we be talking about how we position the technology talent in our market to automakers? This is where the jobs of the future are. Lets compete. We have the talent to prosper in the new technology driven world.

It's a win for trudeau and diass with less GHG

Kevin Baby get lost - brainless wonder

Any free trade deal without free movement of people is a loss for 99% of the people. We are building our own prisons so that a small group of psychopaths can make more money. 🤔

No

Nope. Trudeau sold us down the river so the news would stop focusing on the negotiations.

I don't see how the two relate at all. More hot air!

Free trade is only good if all partners are equal, with regards to wages, environmental and safety regulations. Otherwise the spoils go to the country that either suppresses wages and regulations. Such as Mexico.

You can't fix stupid with a trade deal.

It's not ratified yet here in USA – may never be. It's not likely to come to a vote in Congress before Democrats take over our House. Seems all three parties to the treaty have some buyer's remorse?

Maybe Ontario now feels a little of Alberta’s pain...difference being Ontarians will be the recipients of massive Liberal vote purchasing bailouts

Oil is only the darkest of the clouds obscuring Bank of Canada’s rate pathKevin Carmichael: Central bank’s break from hikes may last into spring as the list of negative forces facing our economy grows Because the red lights are now flashing everywhere. I dare this guy to raise rates next opportunity Thanks progressives and PMJT. The Liberals governing policies are driving our economy towards a recession. New imposed taxes and increasing existing. Poor spending policies with little regard toward balanced budgets. Imposing more regulations on a wounded energy industry. Mediocre achievement on trade.

The dairy industry offers a surprising answerKevin Carmichael: Quebec-based co-op Agropur’s recent history suggests innovation comes from feeling a bit uncomfortable No. It doesn't matter what the dairy industry paid their media shills to print. The answer is no. Cut subsidies, open the markets and they can innovate or die like every other industry in Canada. Why protect this niche? Quebec votes. Shut it down!

Instead of an honest debate about fiscal policy, we get filter bubble papKevin Carmichael: It’s a shame both the finance minister and the Opposition critic have been so willing to sacrifice their credibility in order to win cheap political points 'The budget will balance itself and from the heart out.' Bubble pap? If it’s honest debate you want, you’re showing the wrong guy. I’m not well-versed on economics so I need some help. Why is hourly pay a better metric than weekly earnings? What does your hourly pay matter if your hours are being cut back? It seems to me like weekly earnings would be more indicative of someone’s financial health.

Things could go terribly wrong for Canada’s economy in 2019 — but there’s reason for hopeKevin Carmichael: Amid weak oil prices and high debt, business leaders are moving forward and that could be enough to avoid stagnation, or worse Could they go as bad as the 2008 financial crisis under conservatives? There is only one reason for hope, and that is if the Liberal Party of Canada gets wiped out and loses official party status on 21 Oct 19. If he wins, God help us one and all. Suffice to say, I would not want to be a young person starting out today - no hope, no future...…. Love me some vague warnings in a business article. Did you guys throw the chicken bones or look at someone's wart?
