Kenney says about 90 per cent of those surveyed said they wanted to stick to one time all year long and stop changing clocks twice a year. Alberta has been on daylight time since 1971 and, for now, residents will have to set their clocks ahead by one hour this weekend.

I love that people are whining about this because... “oh woe is me, but what about the hockey and the airlines!!? How will they cope?!” Who cares?
Probably will never happen but it should as travel is faster and planes need not depend on dead reckoning being easier in daylight which was the reason for daylight savings time.
He actually listened to the critics. Go on this is a one off.
Jason Kenney is desperate for ANYTHING to be changed in Alberta. Still going to be part of Canada, regardless of what time it is.
Oh for goodness sake‘s. Why do we have to go through this every time the clocks change. The airlines and the hockey teams are against it and most of us are used to it. I always wake up an hour earlier in the spring!!
